Jonathan Holman
Strategic Advisor
Jonathan Holman is CEO of Nebras, a technology company building secure, interoperable digital and data infrastructure for regulated financial services. He joins SDG as Strategic Advisor, where he will support the team on technical delivery, technology, operations, and execution as the organisation moves from design into mobilisation.
Jonathan has led the design and delivery of national Open Finance infrastructure, including standards, governance, commercial models, and operations. He is currently leading the UAE’s Open Finance initiative for the Central Bank of the UAE as part of its digital transformation agenda.
With over 18 years’ experience across banking, payments, fintech, and data, Jonathan has built and scaled high-performing teams across three continents. At Santander UK, he led Digital for SME, Commercial, and Corporate Banking, winning nine global technology awards.
He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Banking Practice and Management, and was an early pioneer in using social data for credit risk modelling through AI.
Jonathan is a visiting scholar, author, and Chief Examiner at LIBF University College and the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance, and has been recognised among the top 60 fintech leaders worldwide.
